UN ACERCAMIENTO A LA FRONTERA DE LA INVESTIGACIÓN EN LA TEORÍA SOCIOLÓGICA

Resumen. En el presente trabajo expongo los resultados de un estudio empírico sobre la investigación sociológica mexicana contemporánea con el propósito de aportar algunos elementos que contribuyan a la comprensión del momento actual

de desarrollo de la disciplina. Los principales objetivos del trabajo pueden ser caracterizados en los siguientes términos: en primer lugar identificar los principales campos de conocimiento que se constituyen a partir de las líneas de investigación y las temáticas relevantes para la comunidad académica. En segundo lugar, identificar las principales planteamientos teórico-metodológicos objeto de reflexión; y, en tercer lugar, caracterizar los rasgos centrales de las formas de avance teórico en particular de algunos consensos básicos que comparte la comunidad científica y que definen el momento actual de desarrollo.

Abstract. In this article, the author set out the results of an empirical study on the sociological investigation Mexican contemporary in order of contributing some elements that contribute to the understanding of the present moment of development of the discipline. The main objectives of the work can be characterized in the following terms: in the first place to identify the main fields of knowledge that constitute from the thematic lines of investigation and the excellent ones for the academic community. Secondly, to identify the main theoretical-methodologic expositions reflection object; and, thirdly, to characterize the central characteristics of the forms of theoretical advance in individual of some basic consensuses that shares the scientific community and that defines the present moment of development.
