Resumen. Si de hacer un balance sobre concepciones acerca del problema del poder se tratara, podríamos reseñar dos grandes líneas de análisis histórico sobre el mismo. Una de ellas insiste en el poder como dimensión estructural, como campo de relaciones; la otra, piensa al poder como espacio de intersubjetividad. Cuando el asunto es el de la tematización estructural, la reflexión hace énfasis en desmarcar el tema del poder de cualquier consideración donde el sujeto tenga cabida, se muestra más bien, la impersonalidad de los llamados efectos de poder. Si es el caso de la teorización contraria la subjetivización del fenómeno puede abrir, sin embargo, espacio para la consideración de estructura, aunque ella quede sepultada en el trasfondo de lo social.
