Abstract


This article examines, first, Aristotelian developments regarding the phenomenon of psittacism (the useless repetition of words and expressions), such as those exposed in Sophist Refutations. Second, these analysis are used to clear up the argument proposed in Metaphysics B according to which being is not a genre.
