It was conducted using a qualitative approach with a participatory action research design, employing semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and field diaries. University radio was incorporated as a central methodological tool, serving as an accessible, horizontal, and non-judgmental space that fostered expression, peer dialogue, and the construction of collective memory. Through orality, the radio made it possible to make subjective experiences visible, validate situated knowledge, and strengthen community ties. The results show that this medium enabled the participants to construct both individual and collective identities by articulating their experiences, goals, and interests. Orality thus emerged as a transformative resource that influenced interpersonal and cultural relationships, promoting self-awareness, acceptance, and mutual recognition.</p> Leidy Parra Restrepo Albeiro de Jesús Muñoz Copyright (c) 2025 Revista de Psicología Universidad de Antioquia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2025-12-09 2025-12-09 17 2 10.17533/udea.rp.e357442
