Abstract

This research was conducted in three soils like clay textural family located in the municipalities of Sincelejo and Corozal (Sucre, Colombia). The overall objective was to evaluate the effects of pre-drying, air and in the oven, in determining plastic state borders three clay materials, in order to obtain reliable information to enable their use and management plan most suitable technician. The methodology consisted of selecting three different types of soil and extract of, at a depth between 60 and 85 cm. , samples needed for testing liquid limit, plastic limit and sieve analysis. 12 trials were performed on grain boundaries and one, a natural moisture content and a moisture content at the end of the different drying stages, which were at ambient temperatures in the shade during times a day, two days, and three days in the oven drying of the sample occurred at temperatures of 60 ° C, 80 ° C and 105 ° C for twenty-four hours, they use a process of simple correlation regression variables confronting liquid limit and plastic limit against moisture content at the end of the drying step. .
