Supervivencia de las microempresas en el departamento del Magdalena 2009-2012: un enfoque logístico

Resumen

Este artículo analiza la influencia del tamaño inicial de una microempresa en su supervivencia. Para este propósito se utilizó la base de datos de las sociedades clasificadas como microempresas, teniendo en cuenta el valor de los activos, constituidas el año 2009 en el Departamento del Magdalena. Mediante el ajuste de un modelo logístico se estimó la importancia del tamaño de una microempresa en la probabilidad de supervivencia al finalizar el año 2012. El modelo ajustado evidencia una relación positiva y  estadísticamente significativa entre los activos iniciales y la probabilidad de supervivencia en el periodo de estudio.
