La política económica del gobierno de Belisario Betancur: balance y perspectivas

El presente trabajo tiene por objeto analizar la política económica implementada en el país desde finales de 1982. El gobierno nacional en ese momento y a principios de 1983 dio a conocer en dos documentos los lineamientos esenciales de la política económica a implementar durante los cuatro años de gobierno del Presidente Belisario Betancur, en ellos proponía reactivar la economía colombiana mediante un modelo de estímulos al crecimiento de la oferta agregada. Se pretende examinar entonces, con algún detalle, los cambios que ha experimentado la política económica del actual gobierno enmarcada en una situación de crisis; se reseñará además las principales teorías que se han formulado para explicar la actual coyuntura económica colombiana. La parte final del trabajo está dedicada a escudriñar las tendencias de corto plazo en la economía nacional y su influencia sobre las formulaciones de política económica del gobierno Betancur.Downloads
