Esta publicación colectiva forma parte de las actividades académicas que el Seminario de Estudios sobre Narrativa Latinoamericana Contemporánea (Senalc) ha realizado desde su fundación en 2012. Con sede en la Universidad Nacional Autóno-ma de México, este grupo académico mantiene reuniones regulares de debate teórico-crítico y está conformado por estudiantes de posgrado y profesores-investigadores del área de letras de la Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México, Universidad Iberoamericana y El Colegio de México.
