Women’s leisure activities in the sahrawis refugee camps (North Africa)

Abstract

This work is based upon the results of the research entitled as The Sahrawi women’s agency at refugee camps of Tindouf, Argelia, which identified the leisure activities carried out by these women. To develop the topic, the article presents a brief contextualization of the Sahrawi people from  North Africa, then the article addresses what the authors defined as agency of Sahrawi women, subsequently the five outstanding leisure categories are described, concluding  with the articulation between leisure and women’s agency.
