Contributions and challenges for initial education: a look from the Programa Recreodeportivo UdeA
Abstract
This work presents the results of a research that aimed towards identifying and describing the continuities and changes in the practices of the initial education segments of the Programa Recreodeportivo UdeA (Recreational-Sport Program at University of Antioquia, Colombia) that arose due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and how these changes configured themself as significant contributions and permanent challenges for the processes of integral attention to the first infancy. The research performed a qualitative study of historical type in which the notions of active memory of the pedagogical knowledge, archive and historical analysis were methodologically employed. As remarkable results, this study highlighted the permanence of the purpose of taking care of the family and infancy that are shown both by the program and its teachers, how trascendental it is for the families the process of face to face socialization with the children, and the methodological changes that the teachers had to perform due to the confinement situation.
