Performative Actions of Teachers’ Schooled Bodies in Confinement
Abstract
During the COVID 19 pandemic, this research-creation arose from the experience of the researcher-teacher who taught from home, wondering about the schooling of the body of the teacher in confinement. Through spontaneous actions and joint actions, we proposed the composition of performative actions based on the experience of the schooled bodies of a group of teachers at home. Spontaneous actions allowed the construction of bodily fragments through the line of sense suspended times, and in the joint actions, bodies were deployed in multidimensional spaces, Teachers' bodies were found to be schooled, leaking and filling themselves with other interconnected bodies in confinement. Their actions are imbued by others, transporting them, through shortcuts, from home to school, in a fleeting simultaneity proposing us to inhabit our bodies as teachers of spontaneity and improvisation.
