Manuscrito sobre la vida Luis Ospina Vásquez tras un lustro de su fallecimiento. Luis Ospina Vásquez nació en 1904, en la ciudad de Medellín. Cursó estudios de derecho en la Universidad Nacional de Colombia y, posteriormente, de administración y economía en Estados Unidos e Inglaterra. La Universidad Nacional, la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, la Universidad de Medellín y la Universidad de los Andes lo tuvieron como docente en sus aulas. Además de sus labores académicas, Luis Ospina Vásquez, fue miembro del Consejo nacional de planeación y creó la Fundación antioqueña para los estudios sociales (FAES). Su obra más importante fue Industria y protección en Colombia, 1810 – 1930, publicada en 1955. Este es un libro de reconocida calidad sobre la historia económica de Colombia. La investigación y el desarrollo de este tema lo llevaron a sobresalir, junto con Luis Eduardo Nieto Arteta, entre los economistas de su época.Downloads
