El ICFES y la formación de los economistas: una aproximación académica

• Resumen: La enseñanza de la economía en Colombia presenta en los actuales momentos deficiencias importantes. La rígida estructura curricular no ha permitido incorporar a los pensumes las discusiones más recientes en el campo de la teoría económica. Por otra parte, no hay suficientes esfuerzos para incorporar ésta al análisis de la realidad colombiana. En la parte final se hacen algunas propuestas que pueden permitir un fructífero debate sobre este importante asunto.
• Abstract: At the moment the teaching of economics in Colombia exhibits very significant deficiencies. Curricular structure inflexibility has prevented recent theoretical discussions in economics of being included in the study programs. There is as well a lack of effort to incorporate that theory to the analysis of the Colombian economy. Finally we make some alternative propositions, hoping that they will allow a fruitful debate.
