IN SEARCH OF LOST EXPERIENCE:CARLOS CORREAS AND AUTOFICTIONAL NARRATIVE

This paper aims to study the links between autofiction and writing on the work of Argentine writer Carlos Correas (1931-2000). To carry forward our proposal, we selected a corpus of texts which are specifically limited to three works:Los reportajes de Félix Chaneton, La operación Masotta and Un trabajo en San Roque y otros relatos, along with various interviews where we observed the presence of what can be considered as a narrative experience. This narrative in the case of Correas’ writing appears as a subject affected by a certain melancholy of the formative years and its subsequent development as search, comparison and dissatisfaction with the present of its statement that finishes forming materialin the field of autofictional narrative.
