Abstract

Two new species of proliferous Elaphoglossum Schott ex J. Sm. from Colombia are described here: Elaphoglossum anoriense A. Rojas et W.D. Rodríguez and Elaphoglossum giraldoi A. Rojas et W.D. Rodríguez. The first species differs from E. phoras Mickel by thinner rhizome; smaller rhizome scales; relative shorter sterile fronds; shorter stipe; narrower blade with attenuate base; shorter and linear-lanceolate blade scales; shorter fertile fronds; shorter stipe; elliptic to linear-elliptic and narrower fertile blade with attenuate base. The second species differs from E. stenoglossum Mickel by shorter rhizome scales, shorter stipe, blade with proliferous apex and blade margin scales in the undulations.
