Abstract

Two species of bats, Molossus molossus Pallas (1766) and Pteroteryx kappleri Peters (1867), present in the urban area of Cali, department of Valle (Colombia), were examined for the presence of digenean trematodes (Colombia). Both species were found to be parasited with trematodes of Lecithodendriidae, Nudacotylidae, Urotrematidae and Anenterotrematidae families. In total we detected eight species, belonging to seven genera. The trematodes were prepared, measured and described.
