La relación entre el cirripedio Loxothylacus texanus Boschma, 1933 y la jaiba Callinectes sapidus Rathbun, 1985 fue registrada para el noroeste del Caribe colombiano por Young y Campos (1988), solamente para Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta.
