Murciélagos en el Valle de Aburrá

Se hizo un estudio taxonómico de los murciélagos que habitan en el Valle de Aburrá tanto en zonas urbanas como rurales. Además, se relacionaron estos quirópteros con la zona y el hábitat donde fueron capturados. Se discutió la abundancia de especies en el área estudiada con todas las reportadas para el país.
El trabajo se realizó entre 1979 y 1980. En esta región fueron capturados y estudiados murciélagos pertenecientes a 13 especies, agrupados taxonómicamente en 12 géneros, 6 subfamilias y 3 familias, todos pertenecientes al suborden Microchiróptera, orden Chiróptera.
