Laboratorio Columna de Winogradsky

Este experimento, relativamente "simple" Consiste en incubar agua de pantano o suelo, enriquecido con materia orgánica, azufre, etc. en una columna de vidrio y en presencia de luz, dando lugar al cabo de un tiempo, a una excelente demostración de un enriquecimiento selectivo de diferentes grupos de microorganismos. También ilustra la diversidad de rutas bioquímicas o funciones que existen y de las ventajas selectivas que estas les confieren a ciertas especies bacterianas permitiéndoles así dominar en un hábitat.
