Estudio del Pseudosuccinea columella, huésped intermediario de Fasciola hepática

La Fasciola hepática, es un parásito de amplia distribución geográfica, clasificado en el Phlum Platelminta, Clase Tremátoda, Subclase Digenea, Género Fasciola, Especie hepática. Esta especie afecta principalmente al ganado vacuno y otros animales, tales como ovinos, caprinos, equinos, etc. Se debe conocer este parásito porque causa grandes pérdidas económicas en el campo pecuario, y en forma ocasional y esporádica en el hombre.
