Laboratorio: La cromatografía como un instrumento de análisis biológico

El análisis cromatográfico fue utilizado por primera vez en 1903 por el botánico ruso Tswett para separar los componentes de pigmentos vegetales utilizando una columna absorbente. Este método resurgió en 1931 cuando Kuhn y Lederer lo emplearon en la separación de carotenos y xantofilas, usando alúmina en la columna de adsorción (Savidan, 1963).
