Its known that during the last stages of sperm formation, their heads are found soaked in the Sertroli cells' cytoplasm and their tails towards the lumen of the seminiferous tube.
Clermont has classified this last stages in three or four stages according to the animal respectively: in hamster and rat are called VI, VII, VIII, in the guinea pig correspond respectively to V, VI y VII.
