Efecto mutágeno del LSD-25 en Drosophila melanogaster

Se estudió el efecto mutágeno del LSD-25 utilizando la prueba de mutaciones letales recesivas ligadas al cromosoma X en espermatozoides maduros de Drosophila melanogaster.
Los machos se obtuvieron de una cepa Oregon - R, purificada. La frecuencia de mutaciones letales recesivas ligadas al sexo es significativamente superior (P < 0.01) en los cromosomas expuestos al LSD-25, que en los del control. Aunque el número de cromosomas analizados, es reducido, los resultados son coincidentes con los de otros investigadores. En conclusión se observó efecto del LSD-25 sobre el material genético, y no en la fertilidad.
