This article is a reflection about Jacques Lacan's conceptions on Psychosis, based on a film reflecting the life of a psychotic woman who lived in the largest landfill in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The film, which tells the story of Estamira and her daily life, was filmed over three years by filmmaker Marcos Prado and won various awards at several international festivals. The author has identified in this document the living theory of Lacan on psychotic structure. She also covered Freud's work, as well as the subsequent analysis of Daniel Schreber.
