The paradoxes of resistance during the process of treatment according to the psychoanalytic perspective

This paper addresses the paradoxes of resistance in the direction of the psychoanalytic treatment taken in terms of a double functionality apparently mutually exclusive because it allows treatment, but it also attacks it, so that it produces a tension between illness (repeating) and health (remembering). To do so, it takes into account some Freudian and Lacanian texts that allow to characterize their stances on this subject in order to generate a reflexion on them to try to understand the explanation of such ambivalence.
