El erotismo en el cuento colombiano del siglo XX

El artículo presenta un panorama general del erotismo en el cuento colombiano, a partir de un seguimiento cronológico y aleatorio del tema en libros publicados durante el siglo XX. Se pretende identificar cuentos representativos de este asunto según criterios explícitos: publicados en dicho siglo, cuyas acciones abarquen diferentes momentos de la literatura colombiana, editados en libros que presenten variantes significativas del erotismo y cuyos autores sean oriundos de diferentes regiones de Colombia. De esta manera, se ilustra sobre la presencia del erotismo, se muestra la progresiva presencia de éste en los cuentos colombianos a medida que avanza el siglo XX, y se sugieren variantes, tratamientos y circunstancias diversas que, sin lugar a dudas, permiten afirmar que al finalizar el siglo, en el cuento colombiano ya se han manifestado todas las tendencias, los conflictos y los temas del erotismo, aunque no se haya alcanzado la dimensión de la trascendencia en él.

Abstract: The article presents a general overview of erotism in Colombian short stories. It begins with a chronological and aleatory follow-up of this topic in books published during XX Century. It aims at identifying representative short stories of this theme published in that century according to explicit criteria. The stories include actions of diverse moments in Colombian literature and were written by authors of different regions. These short stories present significant variations of erotism; in this way its presence and its progressiveness is shown throughout the century, and variations, treatments and diverse circumstances are suggested. Their analysis permits to affirm that by the end of the Century all tendencies, conflicts and themes concerning erotism have been manifested in Colombian short stories, although its dimension of transcendence had not been gained.
