Description of morofunctional variables of track cyclists sports prospects during pandemic 2021
Abstract
This is a descriptive baseline analysis of the morphofunctional variables of 45 young track cyclists (male and female) to follow the development of their talent. The approach used was descriptive and quantitative, interpreting the evaluation variables by means of specific morphofunctional tests. Descriptive statistics tabulated in PSPP were applied. Body composition, core and flexibility were measured. Overall, only a minimal percentage below normal ranges was observed in both sexes. The conclusions are that there are marked retractions, that it is possible that some athletes have nutritional problems and that there is a high possibility that some have low back pain.
