En el centenario del natalicio de Piero Sraffa

El objetivo de este artículo es resaltar la importancia del trabajo teórico del gran economista Piero Sraffa en el desarrollo del pensamiento económico contemporáneo. Para ello, inicialmente, se precisa el núcleo teórico de su obra cumbre. A partir de esta delimitación se da cuenta de la evolución del pensamiento económico del autor destacado, esencialmente, sus nexos con la teoría clásica inglesa y las repercusiones sobre la teoría del valor neoclásica. Finalmente se hace un recuento sobre las investigaciones más importantes de profundización del pensamiento sraffiano, que siguieron a la publicación de la obra principal, así como también de las reinterpretaciones y críticas a estas últimas.
