based on the theory of aesthetic effect, especially on the contributions provided by Umberto Eco in his book Lector in fabula (1981), we make a study of León de Greiff’s Libro de relatos (1975). It is possible to build up an erotic interpretation linking the capabilities and possibilities of interpretation of the reader with the structure of the text using the levels of cooperation between the reader and the text and the discursive structures within this poem collection. The purpose is to propose both reader and reading models among all the possibilities present in this book of poems.
