RESUMEN En este texto se hace un análisis de la novela Cinco tardes con Simenon desde la perspectiva de la novela negra. La hipótesis central explora las coincidencias, las divergencias y la actualización de esta novela en la narrativa negra en Colombia, como una posible tendencia en el campo de la narrativa colombiana entre 1990-2005.
ABSTRACT This paper proposes the analysis of the novel Cinco tardes con Simenon from the perspective of the black novel. The central hypothesis explores coincidences, but, more than that, the differences between this novel and the black genre as a possible tendency in Colombian narrative between 1990 and 2005.
