Keijiro Suga nació en 1958. Es poeta y crítico literario. Reside en Tokio. Enseña teoría literaria en la Universidad Meiji. Fue galardonado con el Premio Literario Yomiuri, uno de los más prestigiosos de Japón, por su relato de viajes Transversal Journeys (2011). Ha publicado nueve poemarios en japonés y dos en inglés, el último de los cuales es towatowato (2023).
