After a historic enunciation and a description of its different meanings, the concept of Bildung is presented here as experience, by means of a narrative reference to the German romanticism: Goethe’s Wilhelm Meister (as a formation novel), and of a philosophical reference to the German idealism: Hegel’s Phenomenology of the spirit (as a philosophical novel or a formation novel).
