The article proposes to recognize the importance that has the sociopolitical con-text as a promoter of the risk of developing the syndrome to burnout for work in the professionals of the Social Work. Explicit the theoretical proposal of the quality of life and defined the quality of labor, raising that the syndrome to burn itself by the work (Burnout) generates consequences for the professional who suffers it, but also hits the people who take care of and this way repels in the society in general. For this reason the problem cannot be approached simply from the individual dimension, it needs a macrosocial treatment as a social problem that must be answer by the public policies.
