Keywords:
Globalization, development, political, economy, culture, standard of livingAbstract
The article alludes to the worry about the influence of Globalization in the complete development possibilities -above all developing countries or third world countries, in relation to dimensions that should be included in a conception and search for complete development. The previous mentioned, with the purpose of assuming, critically the traditional economist vision approach of development and to make evident the necessity to go beyond the economic question (and including it), if it’s wanted to work for someone who can exercise his full freedom and abilities, founded in a social recognition to his rights and responsibilities. For this reason a critical reflection is proposed around the named models or dimensions of development, putting them in the framework of Globalization era, with the intention for emphasizing the need to find a complete development type that links: the economics, the political, the social, the human, the cultural, the ecological and territorial, with a sense of freedom and sustainability. So there are two points that are discussed: the first one is about the theme of globalization and Development. In the second one it’s questioned the development, assumed as model or models, versus the development viewed in its different dimensions, neither antagonist nor excluding, but united in an integral way, and not free from contradictions. At the end of the article there are some conclusions that leave a debate still opened that should be continued in depth.
