Abstract

The first part of this paper explains Manuel Prada‟s theory about the concept of „Victim‟. The second part analyzes the story of the main character in the Gabriel Garcia Marquez‟s novel Chronicle of a Death Foretold, Santiago Nasar, which is a victim of the silence and lack of support of his community that leads him to confront the Vicario twins, who kill him because of a doubtful debt of honor. Finally, the third part considers the FARC‟s (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) recognition of its victims and the harm caused by the group in Colombia. This will be examined from the point of view of a single skill of the capable being: possible liability
