Abstract

Problem: although in judo there are published studies on the analysis of combat, we do not find a proposal that covers all the technical-tactical aspects of combat. Objective: to develop a comprehensive proposal for the analysis of combat in judo. Method: to prepare this proposal, a review of specialized literature was carried out and the author's sports experience was taken into account. The Kinovea motion analysis program was used. 13 factors were defined to take into account to analyze a combat and the data was taken to an Excel sheet, taking into account all the benefits of this text/number processor. On your final sheet, you can select the variables you wish to analyze in detail. Results: the data and how to record it in the Excel sheet are presented in a detailed and graphic manner to obtain the information that allows the combat analysis to be carried out. Conclusions: the Kinovea movement analysis program and the Excel program/sheet are very good tools for recording and processing the information that occurs in a combat. The proposed method allows the technical-tactical analysis of the combat to be carried out with sufficient depth so that the coach can establish the successes and errors that occur in the competition. With the established processes, this instrument generates a very good evaluation of the combat.
