Cytotoxicity of secondary metabolites from some colombian plants

In a preliminary screening in order to evaluate the cytotoxicity of some compounds we had analyse metabolites obtained from 12 Colombian plants of genus Ageratina, Pentacalia, Curatela, Espeletia, Ageratina and Stemmadenia. The results showed that jacaranone and longipiline acetate were the most active compounds a low concentration of 4 μg/mL.
