The so-called symptoms in the body demand from the psychoanalytic clinic an attention going beyond unconscious formations, that is, a clinical perspective involving the three registers. So it is a clinic now faced to an imaginary of the body poorly supported by the symbolic, which establishes the word and clears the way for the real of the enjoying body. It is the new clinical challenge since the body, which earlier in the beginning of the psychoanalytic clinic showed symptoms prone to focus on the Other, has been replaced by symptoms reluctant to the signifier’s way.
