Este texto pretende interrogar los conceptos de tabú y de virginidad, en la perspectiva de la pregunta por qué es una pareja en la actualidad. Se analiza, siguiendo a Freud, el significado de la virginidad tanto en la antigüedad primitiva como en la posición masculina del hombre moderno y el lugar de una mujer en ambos momentos.
