En la guerra, lucha armada y sangrienta entre agrupaciones organizadas, está expuesto el sujeto en una escena sin tiempo donde la principal invitada es la muerte. Se concreta allí la conjunción del ideal y del imperativo superyoico, encontrándose más allá del deseo, el goce. Cuando flaquea el ideal, se esclarece lo ominoso del nexo con la destrucción y la muerte.
