Three ways, one method intends to illustrate the notion of applied psychoanalysis, application of method, and theoretical psychoanalysis, within the frame of the question of psychoanalytic research, and following Jacques Lacan’s proposals. The aim of the author is to establish the relationship between the three concepts from the decoding method, and to define its consequences related to the connection between psychoanalysis and other disciplines, while keeping its specificity.
