Abstract

From the restructuring in the curriculum of the Theater Program of the Faculty of Arts, in 1996, the course of New Trends or New Theatrical Poetics was configured, to offer a space for reflection and self-criticism in the actor's training processes . The base of this course covers topics that go from the most archaic principles of theatrical work, to speeches that point to urban anthropology, expanded aesthetics and the history of mentalities in the West. In this order of ideas, the expanded scene refers more to the recovery of emerging or stigmatized authors, themes and content, with which the theatrical event is diversified and mobilized. Recreates the concepts, methodologies and theatrical practices; brings together a microscenological condition that invites to expand the dramatic language, through inquiry and experimentation with other trends and other theatrical poetics.
