El proyecto No-arquitectura

Abstract

In the current urban landscape of Bogotá, the construction of avenues and mass public transport routes, the new centers of housing and commerce, as well as the growth of the urban area and the increase in population, have left traces of a parallel city composed of spaces premodern. There is a contrast between a first-world architecture with an underworld of artisan spaces that seem to be second-hand, but which are maintained by dint of being necessary as a support for the main spaces of the city. After a few months of observation, collection and analysis, the Trailer collective has set out on an artistic project that seeks to underline the visual information collected by carrying out a project of appropriation and manipulation. This will be presented on the campus of the National University in order to lead the university community to a reflection on their daily life within a specific physical space, and as inhabitants of our city.
