Abstract

This interview with art historian and professor Juan Antonio Ramirez, from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, was conducted on June 1, 2007, within the framework of the seminar “Reevaluation of Art: the past of the present”, which he offered to the Master in Art History of the Faculty of Arts of the Universidad de Antioquia, between May 30 and June 2 of the same year, in the auditorium of the Casa del Encuentro, Museo de Antioquia, Medellín. The interview, conducted by María Cecilia Arias Otero, in the company of Professor Carlos Arturo Fernández, was part of the project “Aesthetics of the Contemporary in Colombian Art”, of the research group in Theory and History of Art in Colombia, attached to the Faculty of Arts and the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Antioquia.
