Abstract

The world is currently facing dizzying changes, many of them driven by the evolution of technology and climate change, the latter aspect that should be at the forefront of any discussion affecting public or private action. In this context, public accounting has been questioned and for multiple reasons, has been involved in corporate scandals such as Saludcoop, Reficar, Interbolsa delosAndes Cooperativa, in particular, for not being aware of the cases of corruption or excesses that circulated in the accounts of these entities.
