Abstract

This article aims to conduct a descriptive bibliometric study of scientific literature in the Scopus database pertaining to financial education (FE) at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. The study will identify research in the field of financial education and its scientific output. The findings suggest that, despite a substantial increase in scientific output demonstrating the benefits of incorporating financial education, there      is a lack of comprehensive research examining the impact of the continuity of programs from early schooling through university and their long-term effects. It is also evident that financial education programs should be reevaluated in light of the socio-cultural realities of children and young individuals to ensure their relevance to the holistic development of students. These programs should be integrated into the curriculum as a fundamental part of students’ overall development, along with the guidance of the family, teacher training, and support at all stages of the academic process.
