Resumen

Esta comunicación está organizada en cuatro partes. En primer lugar, hablaremos del origen de la investigación centrada en los procesos de pensamiento y acción del profesor, así bien sobre los presupuestos de orden epistemológico que organizan esa investigación. En segundo lugar, describiremos los temas y los problemas más estudiados en el ámbito del paradigma pensamiento y acción del profesorado de Educación Física. En tercer lugar, presentaremos los métodos y los procedimientos de investigación más utilizados en este programa de investigación. Finalmente, enfatizaremos la importancia y la utilidad que los estudios sobre los procesos de pensamiento y acción del profesor tienen sobre la innovación curricular y didáctica de la Educación Física.
