Clímaco Soto Borda y Diana Cazadora: una carcajada en la literatura colombiana

Este artículo busca establecer un contexto para la obra del escritor bogotano Clímaco Soto Borda (1870-1919), y se preocupa especialmente por sugerir diversos elementos intertextuales que, presentes en Diana cazadora (1915), hacen de ella una novela en conexión con significativas obras de su época (incluso europeas) al mismo tiempo que una propuesta, por su irónico humorismo, de avanzada en la literatura colombiana.

Abstract: The main concern of this article is to identify the literary context for Clímaco Soto Borda´s novel Diana cazadora (1915). The author points out how intertextuality permeates the novel, a fact that relates it to many other important contemporary novels, even European ones. Another aspect addressed here is the ironical humour used by Soto Borda which places his work as an avant-garde proposal for Colombian literature at that period.
