Del odio de la casa caribe a la tragedia de la casa andaluza: La casa grande de Álvaro Cepeda Samudio y La casa de Bernarda Alba de Federico García Lorca

Se analiza la relación entre La casa de Bernarda Alba de Federico García Lorca y La Casa Grande de Álvaro Cepeda Samudio, centrándose en el contraste entre rebelión y represión que caracteriza a ambas obras, con particular atención a la importancia de las figuras femeninas que encarnan la rebelión y a las estructuras familiares y sociales que las enmarcan.

Abstract: The similar features of La casa de Bernarda Alba by Federico García Lorca and La Casa Grande by Álvaro Cepeda Samudio, are the aim of this article, particularly the contrast between rebellion and repression, which is characteristic of both works. It dedicates special attention to the importance of the female characters which embody the rebellion and to the family and social structures that surround them.
