La recreación de los orikíes en Changó, el gran putas y Sortilégio II

Este artículo reflexiona sobre el lugar político-estético del intelectual afro en las Américas, a través del análisis de Changó, el gran putas y Sortilégio II. Estas obras recuperan la estética originada en los pueblos africanos de la tradición yoruba y bantú. ¿Cómo recuperar el texto oral de las tradiciones africanas? ¿Cómo reescribir los orikíes en el contexto de la diáspora? Para responder a estos interrogantes analizamos la escritura ancestral y la intelectualidad afro de Manuel Zapata Olivella y Abdias do Nascimento. El propósito es comparar el modo en que rescribieron las tradiciones bantúes y yorubas a partir de un reinvención de lo ancestral.
